| International Award for ESTRAM : |
| ESTRAM project which was constructed by Yapi Merkezi – Bombardier Consortium was awarded by International Association of Public Transportation with 2004 Rail System Award. Yapı Merkezi - Chairman of the Board of Directors accepted the award at the ceremony in Dresden – Germany within the 7th Light Rail System Conference. ESTRAM project competed with 12 projects including Brussels, Dresden and Rotterdam. The jury selected ESTRAM for the reasons of “rail system solution for sustainable transportation, system design, high technology and environment quality management” |
