| The representatives from different cities of Turkey, which have studies about rail transit systems, have participated “Track Engineering and Maintenance Seminar” by Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality, and admired ESTRAM.
The representatives of municipalities who participated “Track Engineering and Maintenance Seminar” in Eskisehir visited ESTRAM. The guest representatives and the rail system specialists who get on the tram on Tepebasi-Otogar line later visited ESTRAM and took detailed information from the authorities.
The guest representatives, who had the opportunity to see the latest developments about rail technologies on practice, were impressed by not only the vehicles, but also the maintenance workshops.
ESTRAM General Manager Erhan ENBATAN stated that almost all the municipalities who use or intend to use rail transit systems have gathered in the seminar held in Eskisehir and added: “As ESTRAM, we had the opportunity to introduce our knowledge and technology about rail systems to other municipalities of Turkey. All the guests admired our vehicles and main building. They asked for our opinions about their own problems. This seminar that we have held had significance for both Eskisehir’s reputation in Turkey as well as the opportunity for the interested municipalities to gather. My hope is that the seminar held in Eskisehir becomes annual expanding every year.” |
