| ESTRAM IS CONTINUING TO ADVANCE THROUGH IT’S VISION : |
| Estram , whose vision is being a model for tram enterprises in Europe, obtained first-class honors from the members of UITP (International Association of Public Transport).
Prof. Dr. Ing-Wolfgang Meyer, the honorary president of the association and Slaven Tica, the president of the association participated in the expansive examination of Estram. Meyer made a statement on behalf of the association members and indicated that he has been working as the general manager of the light rail transportation system in Koln, Germany. He said that ‘’We consider it a success when we operate there %95 problem-free but we saw that the rate of the success is %99 here in Eskisehir and we are surprised. It won’t be wrong to say that Estram is the most excellent system among it’s examples in the world. We are following Mr. Buyukersen’s attempts to made Estram broader closely. This system will solve the transportation problem of not only this generation but also the next generations. Estram is the most perfect system when compared to it’s similars in the world. Estram’s extention to new destinations should not be blocked due to political reasons, this project is the future for the children of the city.’’
